Hwy 55 to Open 7 New Locations in Eastern North Carolina

'MOUNT OLIVE, NC — Long a household name in its home state of North Carolina and a highly-decorated brand in the restaurant industry and franchising community, Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes and Fries is planning to debut its new stand-alone design in the state that knows them best.

Hwy 55 today announced the signing of seven stand-alone restaurants by longtime franchisee Alex Ramos. In strip centers and malls for the entirety of their twenty-seven-year existence, Hwy 55 is transitioning to a hybrid concept, offering a traditional drive thru to complement their world class full-service dining room.

Starting with the company as a sixteen-year old entry-level employee, Alex Ramos understood and valued what Hwy 55 had to offer and is now the owner of four stores in North Carolina.

“I am beyond excited about our new free-standing building,” said Ramos of his expansion plans, “opening these seven locations will give me the chance to pay back the blessings I have received from this company, spreading our Love Your Neighbor and Servant Leadership culture, all the while serving our communities with world-class food and service.”

Ramos plans to open these locations in Lillington, Zebulon, McGee’s Crossroad, Fayetteville, Garner, Clayton and Smithfield.

Hwy 55 president and founder, Kenney Moore, knows the public will love what they see, “This is a very unique and attractive building, and Alex is as good as they come, so we cannot wait until we can begin serving these wonderful communities.”

With the sustained growth and popularity of the Hwy 55 brand, one cannot help but be excited to see the big things to come, sitting down and now driving through.
