Hwy 55 of Myrtle Beach Donates $2,500 to MADD
Posted on April 14, 2015
After an amazing 2014 spent raising over $100,000 for our charitable arm, the Andy's Foundation, we're giving back to our communities. This week, Hwy 55 of Myrtle Beach presented a check for $2,500 to the South Carolina chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Program director Steven C. Burritt was in attendance for the check presentation.
Each year, Hwy 55's cooks, waitstaff, operators, and home office staff raise funds for their local communities through bake sales, car washes, and a myriad of other ways. In addition to large contributions to children's causes across the Southeast, top-raising stores decide where their funds are awarded, and the crew at Myrtle Beach were honored to be able to support their local chapter of MADD.
Founded in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) charity, and dedicated to impacting our communities in a positive way, the Andy's Foundation has raised over $1.2 million for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Miracle League, and other worthy causues. To learn more, visit our foundation page.
