Hwy 55 Donates $2,000 to Boys and Girls Club of Greater Onslow County

Hwy 55's season of giving continued last week with a $2,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Onslow County. The gift comes at a critical time for the organization, which has recently merged with Wilmington's Boys and Girls Club in order to better serve the youth of the Jacksonville and Onslow County area.
On hand for the check presentation were Hwy 55 operator Lee Webb alongside members of his staff and representatives from the Boys and Girls Club.
Each year, Hwy 55's cooks, waitstaff, operators, and home office staff raise funds for their local communities through bake sales, car washes, and a myriad of other ways. In addition to large contributions to children's causes across the Southeast, top-raising stores decide where their funds are awarded, and the crew at Jacksonville were honored to be able to support the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Onslow County.
Founded in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) charity, and dedicated to impacting our communities in a positive way, the Andy's Foundation has raised over $1.2 million for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Miracle League, and other worthy causues. Recent contributions have been awarded to MADD, two exceptional Hampstead, NC youth, and more. To learn more about the organization, visit our foundation page.
