How do I apply?

Simply go to hwy55.com/careers, select the position you would like to apply for, and begin the application process.

How do I know if a location is hiring?

The short answer - we are always hiring! We encourage anyone to apply, as we are always looking for great talent and a winning smile.

What is the status of my application?

If you have applied at hwy55.com/careers, then that means the store has received your application and will contact you with further instructions if interested.

How old do I have to be to work here?

As we are in multiple states, different employment laws apply to different stores. Please reach out to the location you are interested in to find out their hiring policy.

Hwy 55 Rewards/Online Ordering

Can I track my recent activity?

Yes! Within the Hwy 55 Rewards app, navigate to the “Recent Orders” button from the main menu. Here you will see all of your previous transactions.

How can I gain free food through the app?

Just like the My Hwy 55 app, each dollar you spend translates to 5 points. At the end of each visit, your points will automatically go into your account. Log in to your account on the app or at hwy55.com/rewards and redeem your points for rewards. The next time you head to Hwy 55, just tell your server you have a reward to redeem, and you’re all set! 

How do I download the app?

You can find the app by searching for Hwy 55 in the App Store and on Google Play. Download the app with the big red '55.' Once you download the app, you will need to create an account or log in with your existing account. You can choose to sign up with your email address and phone number, or you can connect your Facebook or Google account. Email contact@hwy55.com if you have any trouble logging into your pre-existing account.

How do I receive other special offers?

Make sure to turn on your notifications for the Hwy 55 Rewards app so you can receive offers and discounts reserved for our most loyal members!

I’ve seen some physical Loyalty Cards, what are those?

The physical Loyalty Cards serve as a way to identify yourself as a Hwy 55 Rewards member. Instead of giving your server your email or phone number, they would scan your card instead. It’s not necessary to use a Loyalty Card - all the same functionality can be found at hwy55rewards.com or on the new app.

So how do I receive my points?

The new process is very seamless. If you are dining in one of our locations, your server will ask you if you are a loyalty member when you order. Once you confirm and they look up your account via email or phone number, that’s it! Your points from your visit will be added automatically when you check out. You can also "check in" on the app, which will give you a four-digit code that you can give to the server to make sure your points are added.

What happened to the old app?

We switched to a new app for several reasons. First and foremost, we wanted you, the guest, to have the best possible experience with our loyalty program. Second, the new app features amazing features such as mobile and online ordering! Lastly, we feel this change will benefit our guests and Hwy 55 as we continue to expand.

What is different about this app?

The biggest thing you will notice when navigating this app is that there is nowhere to scan your receipt. That’s right, no more struggling with cameras and faded receipt codes! 

Will I keep my old points?

Yes! Once you download the new Hwy 55 Rewards app, you will be able to log in with your existing My Hwy 55 credentials, and you will see all existing points!

Do you have a veggie burger?

We currently do not offer a veggie burger on our menu, but we are always looking to add items our guests would enjoy. Thank you for your feedback.

Yes. This link shows detailed nutritional information on all of our products.

Do you have any merchandise for sale?

Andy's Foundation

How can I donate?

Every year during our Giving Season we raise money in our stores. If you wish to donate money outside of this time, go to hwy55.com/andys-foundation and hit the donate button!

How do you choose which charities to give?

The Andy’s Foundation has a dedicated board of individuals that distribute funds every year. This board is unpaid, meaning 100% of the money we raise goes directly to our charities.

What is the Andy’s Foundation?

The Andy’s Charitable Foundation is our company’s charitable arm, where we have given over $2 million to numerous charities in the communities in which we inhabit.

Do you host any fundraisers?

We are committed to loving our neighbors in every community we are in. We frequently host Spirit Nights, pancake breakfasts and other events, contact your local Hwy 55 for inquiries.

Didn’t your name use to be Andy’s?

Yes, it did! From 1991 until 2012 we were known as Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers, and Andy’s Burgers Shakes and Fries. Once we franchised out of our home state of North Carolina we made the difficult decision to change our name to Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes and Fries. Read more of our story here.

90% of all Hwy 55’s are owned and operated by independent franchisees. They have the ability to choose which promotions to participate in.
